Annabel Lee

It was many and many a year ago, 
In a kingdom by the sea, 
That a maiden there lived whom you may know 
By the name of ANNABEL LEE;-- 
And this maiden she lived with no other thought 
Than to love and be loved by me.

Unique, colorful and perky: Elisa Nalin

      Before a year ago Elisa Nalin was unknown in fashion circles, but nowdays she is a style icon.
She is italian stylist working in Paris. Her style is very uniqe, because she doesn't blindly follow trends and is very free-minded when it comes to her style. Elisa describes her style like colorful, unexpected, textured but always elegant and she isn't afraid of fashion faux pas.
      She is a kind of people with their very point of view and following their own personal taste which is rare nowdays and I salute that way of thinking and living. Also, she loves vintage....big <3 for that :)

Elise Nalin is a breath of fresh air in today "copy paste" style society.

Inspired by Edie Sedgwick

You remember a post about Edie Sedgwick!?
Well, I am mesmerized by her and I wanted to do something tribute to her on my own way.
My friend Dina reminds me on Edie very much so I dreesed her up and... let the fun begins!
This is the first time I photographed someone and I really enjoyed it.

Loving vintage

     Before a few weeks I found this vintage coat in my granny's closet. I fell in love with it on a first site so I decided even though it's almost summer here in Croatia to wear it for a photo shooting with Robert Matakovic.

     I love vintage style and old things and combine them with urban stuff such as this collar which I made and designed. Hope u like it, too ! And when it's about the handbag, it's actually bag for men, but I couldn't resist it! :)

IT girl !

Hello !!!

This is my first post ever on my first blog ever...wuhuuu :)

While you are waiting for some pictures of my own style (which would be very soon) enjoy reading about Edie Seadwick, a true inspiration of mine when it comes to style. I absolutely adore her.

Edie Sedgwick (1943.-1971.), altough she was only 28 when she died, Edie make a big tribute to the world fashion. She was real IT –girl of 1960's. She developed her own style, with her own vision, but she was also influenced by Andy Warhol being his muse for one period of his art work.

 Thick black tights, oversize T-shirts and big massive earings were her must have clothing items. Edie's natural beauty, big dark eyes and her fragility made her special and loved by everyone although she was addicted to drugs and with her unstable nervous state. Edie Sedgwick was a interesant person who had three real loves in her life: Warhol, Dylan and drugs. She was the first model of great Betsy Johnson who told that Edie was the begining of unisex type.

Edie was so before her  time that she inspired girls over the world with her unique style which continues to develop in nowdays fashion.
